With this past weekend's Easter holiday, we have officially begun your second set of holidays.
Last Easter, you were three weeks old and it was your first Sunday at church.
I can't remember you being that tiny. So crazy.
Now you are a big girl!
This Easter, we went to Dothan to take care of some important business, and to spend the weekend with GiGi.
You had toast and peanut butter...hehe...
GiGi had to go to rehearsal at church, so Your Daddy and I took you to the mall to do some window shopping until GiGi was ready to meet us. You're such a good shopper.
We had lunch, ran some errands, and then went to Target to fill up your Easter basket with goodies! You tried on this hat to see if it might look good with your Easter dress. We were right. It didn't.
Sunday morning, you woke up to see your Easter basket(s)! You got several new books, including a bedtime prayer book, a ballerina bunny, and a new sippy cup! You were very excited!
I was a bad Easter bunny and waited until Saturday night to get things for your basket. There weren't many stuffed bunnies left! But we found a sweet little ballerina bunny sitting all by her lonesome...
Mommy and Daddy got presents from the Easter bunny too...chocolate!
After looking at our Easter baskets, we got ready for church. We AMAZINGLY made it there on time, and were able to get a few pictures with GiGi before the service.
It was a wonderful service - full of singing, rejoicing, and praising because our Savior LIVES!
After church, we took a few more pictures outside at GiGi's house.
You were absolutely precious in your Easter dress (that we bought at Kid's Market for $7!). You just really didn't want to show us. You knew that the rocking chair is supposed to rock, so you kept leaning forward, trying to get it to move.
Mr. Woody and Mrs. Patty invited us for Easter lunch at their house. The Easter bunny even visited there for you!
I absolutely love this picture.
We had a delicious lunch of ham, sweet potato casserole, mac n cheese, green beans, and much more. I made orange jello salad (orangello salad, as Your Daddy calls it). It was super yummy! You really loved the sweet potato casserole and the mac n cheese.
After lunch, we came back to GiGi's house for naps. You woke up from your nap before Your Daddy and I woke up from ours, so you played in the floor with GiGi for a while, reading your new books and playing with Mr. Mouse.
Then you and I had to head back to Birmingham. Why not Daddy? Because he stayed with GiGi while he began his new job with the Dothan Police! YES! We are moving to Dothan!
That's another post entirely...
