Dear Brooke Allen is a collection of love letters to a baby from a mother.
I began this blog years ago to chronicle my life with my husband. When I found out in July of 2011 that I was pregnant with our first baby, I mostly blogged about my pregnancy. I started writing letters to the baby before we found out if it was a boy or girl, and when we found out girl, the letters changed from Dear Baby P to Dear Brooke Allen.
My hope is that one day, I can turn this blog into a book for Brooke Allen about her precious little life. I want her to read it once she's old enough to understand my feelings about pregnancy, infancy, growing up, and all the circumstances surrounding them.
She is my greatest blessing, and this is my gift to her.
