Eleven Months Old

11 months.  E-L-E-V-E-N.

That's 11 months since your day of birth, and one til your first birthday.

I am DYING.

I feel like I hardly have any pictures of you this month.  Of course, I may actually have a normal amount of pictures, and I go overboard every other month.

But here are the things that you've done since your ten month birthday:

We went to breakfast at the Original Pancake House in Five Points.  They gave you a coloring page.

We finally set up your pack-n-play as a playpen in the living room.  You LOVE it.  You can see most of the house from there, including down the hall to watch Charlotte run in and out.

You have a boatload of toys in there to keep you occupied.

You like it much better than Your Mommy did as a child.
Yes, that's me.

You take excellent naps.  And you like to play with all the toys in your crib until we come get you.

One of your favorite things to eat is pita bread and hummus.

The night that this particular picture was taken, we were sharing pita and hummus on the couch.  Then you got a hold of the bag of pita rounds.  We made a big mess.  But you're only little once, right?

You also really love ravioli.

And pouches.  But I have to hold them.  You like to lay them on your tray and smash them.

And you looooooove yogurt.  Especially greek yogurt.  The Chobani kids Very Berry is your favorite.

We tried on some slippers that Your GiGi said you HAD to have from Target.  They were a little big.

You had a little cold, complete with crusty boogers.  It got better after a few days of mommy snuggles and lots of Vicks.

Your Daddy is just the greatest thing ever.

You learned to clap!  And you clap after EVERYTHING.  When we say YAY!, you clap.  When we wave, you clap.  When you like something, you clap.  When you're bored, you clap.  It's absolutely precious and we have to show everyone.

We are doing crawling practice.  You still don't care.  Crawling is not of your concern.
And of course, Charlotte had to help.  She's never very far from you.

You had your first Valentine's Day!
Daddy took us to Taco Bell.  It's kind of a thing that Mommy and Daddy do.

You mastered the sippy cup.  But you don't want formula in it.  Or plain water.  You want water with a splash of apple juice.

You are quite the helper.

You are the smiliest, happiest girl alive.

Your birthday party time is set: Saturday, March 23rd.  So save the date, friends and family!  I am so beyond excited for this next month.  Your last month of your first year of life.

What a year it has been!
